Yeah! Pictures, finally!
Hey everyone,
How are you all doing? I hope that getting back into the regular pattern of life after the holidays wasn't too bad for you all.
Every day brings more and more excitement as sailing is becoming a huge reality now! Please please pray, because my prayer before we sail is that everyone's hearts would be right and pure for ministry in God's eyes... This ship is going to be blazing with excitement when we sail. But, I really really am praying that excitement of what we see God doing, won't take our eyes off our amazing God himself. .... Well, I have included a lot of pictures, so I won't write much more so that you can enjoy the photos.... Have a great weekend; I hope it brings tons of blessings your way.
love,
Joslynn
The first photo is what the book fair looks like! The other photos are the inside and outside of the American stand when it was open to the public during the ship's program called, "Christmas around the World." This event turned out to be a huge success... We had close to a thousand people walk through the book fair and experience deck on the first weekend we opened! Below are the different national stands that were a part of the experience deck... First is the German speaking stand, second is Japanese, third is the Caribbean, fourth is the Netherlands, and fifth is India's stand. There were quite a few more stands too!
The next two pictures is a little bit about my Christmas... I really really wanted to decorate my room all of up. So, I did.. But, the only thing that I was lacking was a Christmas tree! Now I know that having a Christmas tree is not that that important when it comes to celebrating Christmas. But, I thought it would be fun to try and create one and I knew that it would bring a special part of home to the ship for me! I was telling one of the couples on board about my hope to try and create one, when all of the suddent they mentioned that they had a small branch in the shape of a Christmas tree that they could give me! So, they gave it to me and I was wondering what to decorate it with when at the next moment I found a box full of Christmas bulbs and decorations in the free cupboard... Even though it was such a little want, God showed me how me he cared. I was sooo excited!!! Here is the picture of my tree and my room...
Above is a picture of me and my friends on New Year's Eve! I am so blessed by the friends God has given me on board...
Because the American's won first prize for their American stand in Christmas Around the World, the ship blessed us with the opportunity to go to a theme park called, "Tivoli." It was filled with lights and rides and unique stores and cute cultural (chinese, japanese, korean) builidings... Above is a picture of me at Tivoli.
